Join in and explore more than 150 years of rail history at the Museum.

Hear The Workshops Whistle blown, take a rare look inside the historic Powerhouse and explore the Museum grounds.

Remembrance Day Ceremony

At 10:20am a Remembrance Day service will be held at The Workshops War Memorial. Visitors are encouraged to attend and observe one minute of silence at 11am.

Centenary of Armistice

At 11:45am a Centenary of Armistice service will commence. Visitors are encouraged to attend to commemorate the end of World War I 100 years ago.

BrisStyle Laneway Market

Explore BrisStyle's signature range of hand-made and one off market items.

Heritage Railway Workshops 

Take a self-guided walking tour of the Heritage Railway Workshops where the heritage steam train fleet is housed and see the Blacksmith Shop in action! 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Stay for lunch

Enjoy a meal at the Museum cafe or bring a picnic - the Museum grounds are yours to enjoy!

Don't miss the Museum's exhibitions

All Museum exhibitions are open 9:30am to 4pm. Don't miss the Museum's collection of genuine locomotives, big machinery, model railway and kids adventure playground.

And don't miss the special exhibitions Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties and Glass Plates & Rail Justice. On at the Museum only for a limited time.
