Sensory Friendly Day

Make a day of it with entry to the Museum and all exhibits included in your entry ticket

Buy tickets online or purchase at the door. See prices.

It’s all about hands-on fun! For this very special day we will turn the sound down and create an engaging and fun space that children with sensory processing difficulties can share with their families and carers.

We will also have a couple of chill out zone options if some quiet space is required as well as child-sized earmuffs available for use during your visit.

What to expect:

We will have made some modifications to our displays and activities. While we will do our best to minimise the noise levels of the exhibits and activities, not all of them will be completely silent.

If you would like specific information to help you plan your visit, please contact us on (07) 3432 5100 or email us at
