Speakeasy Saturday

Expert Talks | Silent Films | Workshops

Step back in time at this monthly event celebrating the gritty exhibition Underworld: Mugshots from the Roaring Twenties.

The Roaring Twenties

The 1920s was a period of great social change emerging post-WWI. Young women sought new freedoms, movies began influencing the way people lived, and technology developments such as faster, more reliable motor cars improved the lives of millions.

The Speakeasy Saturday series celebrates this fantastic era through film, workshops and expert talks - all to the backdrop of the Museum's heritage site.
