The End of an Era

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the end of the steam era in Queensland and the end of the 1960s in this special evening with live music and access to the cars and steam engines that were icons during this time.

A bar and food will be available.

What to look out for on the night:

  • Tunes by Darren J. Ray and the Love Bugs
  • Miss Wild Thing 1969 Pinup Pageant hosted by Bettie Butcher
  • 1960s vehicle display
  • Bar, servicing local craft beers and the usual favourites
  • Access to the Museum after dark, including the Bush Mechanics exhibition
  • Dress up in the 1960s theme to go in the draw for Best Dressed!
