Little Nippers: Under the Ocean

Little Nippers Under the OceanLittle Nippers dive beneath the waves without getting wet!

This month we investigate life under the sea and learn about the incredible creatures that live there and how we can look after our oceans.

To celebrate World Water Week (23-27 August 2021), Little Nippers will discover some of the unique and interesting creatures that live in our oceans. They become little marine scientists and help us clean up the special Little Nippers Ocean.

About Little Nippers

Designed for children from 2 - 6 years, Little Nippers encourages fun and discovery learning around a museum object.

Each week during school term, from March to December, the Little Nippers box is opened and an object is revealed. The children learn about the mystery object through story, dance, song and craft.

Participating families are then invited to the Museum's Trackside Café to meet with other families.
