Little Nippers: Let's explore the museum

Celebrate the things that make our museum great!

Little Nippers become museum detectives, discovering museum displays both big and small.

Trains, tools and machinery are just some of the things for Little Nippers to discover this month. Join us in December as we tour the museum in an object scavenger hunt and rediscover displays and objects that you may not have seen in a while.

Fridays 9:45am - 10:30am

Little Nippers is included with Museum entry and free for Annual Pass holders. No need to book – just come along and join in the fun.

About Little Nippers

Designed for children from 2 - 6 years, Little Nippers encourages fun and discovery learning around a museum object.

Each week during school term, from March to December, the Little Nippers box is opened and an object is revealed. The children learn about the mystery object through story, dance, song and craft.

Participating families are then invited to the Museum's Trackside Café to meet with other families.
