Little Nippers: Animal Homes

Like us, animals need a place to shelter, eat and to be safe. This month, Little Nippers discover the wonderful world of animal homes.

Does it live underground, in a tree or build its own home? Investigate the amazing homes of animals, birds and insects in this month's Little Nippers sessions. Maybe we will find some of these homes in the Museum grounds.

About Little Nippers

Designed for children from 2 - 6 years, Little Nippers encourages fun and discovery learning around a museum object.

Each week during school term, from March to December, the Little Nippers box is opened and an object is revealed. The children learn about the mystery object through story, dance, song and craft.

Participating families are then invited to the Museum's Trackside Café to meet with other families.
