Come and learn about amazing insects at The Workshops Rail Museum. On 9 September, stick around to explore some fabulous displays as part of our World Science Festival Queensland event.

Little Nippers activity space, meeting at the front of the museum. Look for the sign near the black locomotive.


Little Nippers is included with Museum entry and free for Annual Pass holders. No need to book – just come along and join in the fun.

About Little Nippers

Designed for children from 2 - 6 years, Little Nippers encourages fun and discovery learning around a museum object.

Each week during school term, from March to December, the Little Nippers box is opened and an object is revealed. The children learn about the mystery object through story, dance, song and craft.

Participating families are then invited to the Museum's Trackside Café to meet with other families.
