Group bookings are available to groups of 10 or more paying visitors.

Our Booking Officer will contact you to confirm your booking and deposit payment.

It may take 3 to 5 working days to respond to your request. Should you not receive a response within this time please contact the Bookings Officer 07 3432 5100.

COVID safety and acknowledgement of entry conditions

The museum operates under a COVID Safe plan, which can be downloaded from our website. Your booking confirmation will also include details of any COVID safety measures and contact tracing processes specific to your visit.

Group Booking Terms and Conditions
  1. Confirmation of booking must be made in writing by the client accompanied by a 30% deposit. Balance is to be paid prior to or on arrival. Cheques are to be made payable to The Workshops Rail Museum. Major credit cards or cash are accepted.
  2. The Workshops Rail Museum does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on the premises prior to, during or after a booking.
  3. Notice of Cancellation: We require written notice if the client wishes to cancel or postpone an event. A 100% refund will be given if cancellation is made before seven (7) days of the visit. Please note that with cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to the visit, the 30% deposit will be forfeited.
  4. Final confirmed number of guests is required seven (7) days prior to the event.
  5. Prices: All prices listed include GST where applicable. Please be aware that all prices are subject to change.
  6. Bookings made with less than two (2) days notice cannot be guaranteed placement on the Heritage Railway Workshops Tours.
  7. Heritage/Curator Tour Conditions: Every effort will be made to rebook late arrivals for tour bookings but cannot be guaranteed due to other bookings on the day. Refunds or deferment to other days require seven (7) days notice.

Privacy: The personal information collected and maintained by the Queensland Museum Network/The Workshops Rail Museum comprises your name, address, contact details and information specific to your involvement with the Museum. The information requested allows us to provide you with up-to-date information including products, events and special offers. Your personal information is also collected for research to improve our industry.
