Conditions of Entry

In line with Queensland Government’s COVID-safe Roadmap to recovery, The Workshops Rail Museum is open with changed entry conditions.

Changes include:

  • In line with Queensland Government regulations, all visitors to these locations will be required to wear a mask in all museum buildings. Children under 12 years and people affected by a medical condition or disability are exempt.
  • Requiring visitors to complete a COVID tracing form (name, email and mobile number) on entry using a QR code on your phone.
  • Cleaning frequently touched areas and surfaces regularly, and encouraging good hygiene practices for all visitors.
  • Providing hand sanitiser stations.
  • Monitoring visitors numbers.
  • Establishing dedicated entry and exit points and contactless payment to minimise contact.
  • Changing up our programming to promote social distancing.

What you can do to help

The health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers are our utmost priority. We ask that you please do not visit if you have knowingly come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed or exposed to COVID-19 in the last 14 days, or if you are unwell with flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose or shortness of breath.

While you are here, please practice good hygiene and follow the directions provided by our friendly staff.
